Leeds United have signed George McCartney on loan until the end of the season from Sunderland.
McCartney returned to Sunderland after enjoying a successful three months on loan at Leeds home game with Portsmouth at the end of defender but manager Simon Grayson moved quickly to bring him back to Elland Road.
Grayson is happy that he`s managed to secure McCartney`s services until the end of the season, speaking on the official website said, “I`m delighted I`ve been able to bring George back until the end of the season. He did well over the course of his last loan spell and I know what he can bring to the table.”
The defender made seventeen appearances during his initial loan spell.
