Leeds United welcome back George McCartney to the squad for Saturday`s game with Scunthorpe United.

The defender spent three months on loan at Elland Road before returning to Sunderland at the end of the year after the home game with Portsmouth.

Leeds boss Simon Grayson has brought McCartney back to Elland Road on loan for the remainder of the season and he is likely to replace Ben Parker at left back.

Sanchez Watt is doubtful after picking up a hamstring injury at Arsenal last weekend.

Lloyd Sam was forced to miss the Arsenal clash after picking up a thigh injury at Cardiff.

Midfielder Neil Kilkenny is still on international duty with Australia in the Asia Cup.

Richard Naylor could return to the squad after playing his second game for the reserves in midweek, since being sidelined since October with a knee injury.

Patrick Kisnorbo is the only long term absentee at Leeds although he is stepping up his rehabilitation.

Scunthorpe have a number of players doubtful through injury, Michael O`Connor, Rob Jones, Cliff Byrne, David Mirfin and Garry Thompson are all struggling to be fit.
