LUFC – McAllister going nowhere

Gary McAllister has received the dreaded vote of confidence from club chairman Ken Bates.

Leeds have seen a tremendous run of results in September when Leeds won six in a row to only six wins in the last fifteen, which culminated in an embarrassing cup exit at part timers Histon Town in the FA Cup on Sunday.

The run of results have seen Leeds drop out of the play off places in recent weeks and with a hard run of fixtures in December looming the pressure is certainly on the Leeds boss.

Bates met up with McAllister, chief executive Shaun Harvey and technical director Gwyn Williams in Monaco on Monday to discuss Leeds progress so far this season.

Bates claims that the meeting was arranged before the embarrassment of Sunday, we all know though that Bates was never slow in disposing of managers services during his time at Chelsea and I am sure McAllister will be feeling under pressure unless Leeds can get back to their early season form.
