Fabian Delph has beaten his Leeds team mate Jermaine Beckford into winning the League One PFA 2UP Fans’ Player of the Month Award for November.

Delph who is regularly being linked with a big money move to a Premiership club during the transfer window has continued with his fantastic early season form throughout November which culminated in him making his England under 21 debut against the Czech Republic.

He also beat Bristol Rovers Ricky Lambert and Leicester City`s Matt Fryatt who were also short listed for the award.

Fabian will receive his award before Leeds next home game against Colchester United.

The PFA`s Mick McGuire is another big fan.

He says: “Having made his debut as a scholar, he has emerged this season as a player of immense promise, scoring two outstanding goals against Walsall in October.

“He continued his impressive form into November and the 19-year-old recently figured in his first England Under 21 international against the Czech Republic.

“Little wonder that he is already attracting great interest from a number of Premier League clubs.”

The full list of winners is:

Premier League

Cristiano Ronaldo – Manchester United

Championship

Kevin Doyle – Reading

League One

Fabian Delph – Leeds United

League Two

Jamie Ward – Chesterfield

The four divisional winners were recognised by football fans across the country, who voted on the PFA`s website givemefootball.com, as the best players in their division during November 2008. Four fans who voted for the winning players will be chosen to go to a match and present the trophy to the player. The winners will be chosen at random and will be announced later in the month.
