Leeds United boss Paul Heckingbottom will welcome Pablo Hernandez back into his squad for the clash against Wolverhampton Wanderers on Wednesday evening.

The Spanish midfielder has missed the last three games with a groin injury but he has returned to full training this week.

Heckingbottom is expected to make changes to his side following the disappointing defeat at Middlesbrough on Friday night with Matthew Pennington, Adam Forshaw, Laurens De Bock, Hadi Sacko and Ronaldo Vieira pushing for a recall.

Goalkeeper Felix Wiedwald is expected to keep his place in the starting line-up despite another error-strewn performance.

Andy Lonergan is still sidelined with a neck injury and Heckingbottom is not expected to risk youngster Bailey Peacock-Farrell.

Luke Ayling, Conor Shaughnessy, Tyler Roberts and Kemar Roofe remain on the sidelines through injury.

Wolves will once again be without Ruben Neves through suspension.

Boss Nuno Espirito Santo was expected to ring the changes last weekend against Reading after a disappointing defeat at Fulham last time out. The clash with Reading was postponed and it has given the Wolves players an extra few days rest.

Diogo Jota and Benik Afobe will both be hoping for a recall to the starting line-up.
