Vital Leeds United contributor Tiny T made the trip to Elland Road on Sunday for the clash with Middlesbrough.

He gives his view of the performance following the 2-1 Leeds win.

Lonergan 6
He was better than his last game. He did elect to punch when he should have caught it. He had no chance with the penalty.

Ayling 7
A much-improved performance. He stupidly gave away the penalty.

Jansson 8 Star man
The old Pontus has returned. He gave nothing away.

Cooper 8
As with his defensive partner, he gave nothing away.

Berardi 7
A solid adventurous performance.

Alioski 7
Alioski worked hard up and down the line and he scored the second goal. He needs to give the ball to others when they are in a better position.

Phillips 7
Phillips battled away.

Vieira 7
Important tackles but he gave the ball away with some sloppy passing.

Hernandez 8
He was creative and he worked hard.

Saiz 7
Saiz hit the post with one effort. Inventive and tricky.

Roofe 7
An assist and he worked hard closing down.

Subs
O`Kane 6

He was brought on to keep control.

Ekuban 6
Useful minutes

Pennington
Not on long enough.

Summary
A much-improved performance and deservedly getting the three points. There was the odd moment when Boro threatened but mostly the defence snuffed out the threat. Midfield was inventive and packed with pace. Roofe worked hard up front closing down. Hopefully Lasogga was watching.

A petty referee who favoured the away side. Bookings given to Leeds but not the same for Boro.

A word to the idiots in the South Stand if you hold play up playing beach ball the ref will add the time on.

On to Wolves next and same again please.
