Vital Leeds United contributor Tiny T gives us his usual fan view from the game at Elland Road.

This time it comes after Leeds beat Hull City 1-0 thanks to a Pablo Hernandez goal.

Wiedwald 8 Star man
Wiedwald kept us in the game in the first 25 minutes with a couple of crucial saves.

Ayling 7
A solid performance from Ayling.

Jansson 8
Little got past him and he has been back to his normal self in the past month.

Cooper 8
Like his partner, a quiet and effective performance.

Berardi 8
Do we need another left back? Possibly but he will have to rip the shirt off Berardi`s back. Does anyone have the bottle?

Phillips 5
He was largely ineffective. He seemed to lack drive.

Vieira 7
Vieira put his foot in all game and a much better performance than last week.

Cibicki 7
He protected the full back when required. He was consistent all the game.

Hernandez 6
A stunning finish for the goal but he was lightweight around the pitch when the going was tough.

Alioski 6
Alioski worked hard but he was easily dispossessed and he went to ground too easily at times.

Roofe 5
He had nothing to work off all game. He chased and harried. He needs better quality ball to him.

Subs
O’Kane 7

O`Kane gave us better control and he used his experience.

Lasogga 5
One shot close to the end of the game but for me still looks overweight.

Pennington
He was brought on to wind the clock down.

Summary
For most of the game we were second best but came away with the three points thanks to an Hernandez super finish.

A delightful chip from a mistake the keeper`s poor clearance. The rest was defensive solidity with Jansson and Cooper immense in the middle and Vieira breaking up play in front of them.

Hull should have been at least two if not three goals up before we scored but for Wiedwald, some poor finishing and the post, we stayed in the game. After 70 minutes we seemed to just wind the time down taking time over all dead balls and throw-ins.

We picked up 3 points that was brilliant especially in a very dour game where we struggled to get going and have any cohesion at all.

Merry Christmas to all Leeds fans enjoy yourselves and have a great New Year.
