Leeds United head coach Thomas Christiansen admitted the performance wasn`t very good against Hull City but the three points is all that matter.
Pablo Hernandez scored the only goal of the game with an extravagant finish after a poor clearance by Hull goalkeeper Allan McGregor.
The goal came against the run of play, as struggling Hull dominated the early exchanges and Leeds had goalkeeper Felix Wiedwald to thank for keeping them level with two smart saves in the opening minutes.
“I thought today`s win was what everyone in Leeds deserves,” Christiansen told the Leeds official website .
“It has been a good first half of the season, the performance wasn`t so good, but I don`t care because we have the three points.”
The win against Hull was a fifth win in Leeds last seven games as they have returned to form since the last international break.
The win lifts Leeds up to fifth in the Championship as we reach the halfway point of the season.
Leeds now face three more games in six days and they will hope to cement their place in the top six as they move into 2018.
