Vital Leeds United is keeping fans up to date with all the latest transfer rumours over the summer with Neil Warnock looking to build a squad capable of mounting a promotion challenge next season.

It was relatively quiet until the end of the week.

West Ham striker Freddie Piquionne was reported on Sky as having agreed a deal to sign for Leeds but as yet nothing has happened.

Leeds are also being linked with Blackpool defender Alex Baptiste along with a number of other clubs.

On Friday, defender Paul Connolly was linked with a move to Portsmouth and the deal was announced on Saturday for him to join them for a month.

One player linked with us earlier this summer looks set for a move to Bristol City. DJ Campbell is expected to sign this week after agreeing a deal with the club.

Defender Martin Cranie also looks set to sign for Barnsley having spent the summer with Leeds.

There are now just under two weeks until the transfer window closes.

If you read of any player links in or out of Elland Road then let us know on Vital Leeds.
