According to reports on Sky Sports Leeds midfielder Bradley Johnson would like to extend his current contract which runs out in 2011.

Johnson as been a revelation this season, filling the hole that was left by big money departure Fabian Delph scoring five goals already this season.

Speaking on SkySports.com Johnson said ‘I’m keen to stay at Leeds. I love the club and the city”.

The 22 year old who signed for Leeds in January 2008 from Northampton Town looked like he could be on his way out of Elland Road after struggling to hold down a regular first time place last season making only seven starts.

He enjoyed a successful loan spell at fellow League One side Brighton and Hove Albion around Christmas scoring five goals in ten games and rumours were that the South coast club were keen to secure his services in January transfer window.

Luckily for Leeds and Simon Grayson, the boss managed to hang onto the midfielder and he`s enjoyed a fantastic start to the season after being given a chance in the first team after Delph`s departure.
