Leeds United boss Simon Grayson was happy to see Leeds win without playing well, calling it a bad day at the office.

Leeds had to come from behind to claim all three points but it could have been worse if not for a couple of fine saves by Andy Lonergan when Leeds were 2-1 down.

Grayson said it made a change for Leeds to claim the points after playing poorly and not playing well and coming away with nothing.

Speaking on Yorkshire Radio, Grayson said, “I`m fed up of us coming in and saying we played well and got nothing out of the game.
Today wasn`t a good day at the office, I didn`t think we played well enough, we didn`t pass the ball well enough and we were exposed at times and didn`t keep the shape of the team.
“You can`t fault the player`s desire, attitude and spirit to keep going.
“In the morning it will say we won 3-2 and that`s all that matters.”

Leeds took an early lead through Ross McCormack but were soon 2-1 behind.

Luciano Becchio came off the bench to draw Leeds level and McCormack scored his second of the afternoon to secure all three points for Leeds.

The win moves Leeds into the top half of the table.
