Leeds United boss Simon Grayson is still hoping to add to his squad before the new season kicks off at Southampton next weekend.

Grayson has brought in three players so far this summer in goalkeepers Paul Rachubka and Andy Lonergan as well as midfielder Michael Brown.

The Leeds boss still feels he need to add quality, experience and have a competition for places if his team are to push for promotion this season.

Speaking on Yorkshire Radio, Grayson said, “We`re definitely looking. We`re not happy with the squad that we`ve got, we need to be better in terms of quality, experience and competition for places if we are going to do anything this season.”

Despite wanting to add to his squad, Leeds have come through pre season unbeaten and the side has also seen the emergence of Adam Clayton, Ramon Nunez and Tom Lees to the squad, who made little or no impression last season.

Grayson also has the added bonus of the return to full fitness of defender Patrick Kisnorbo who missed fourteen months through injury and only returned on the final day of last season.

He also has Lloyd Sam who had a stop/start first season at Elland Road through injury.
