Leeds United boss Simon Grayson will make a decision on his two trialists in the near future as to whether either of them have done enough to earn a contract at Elland Road.

French born Alexandre Mendy has featured in the pre season friendlies against Rochdale, Sheffield Wednesday, Sandefjord and Newcastle United and as impressed on the wing during his time with Leeds.

Hungarian international Boldiszar Bodor has played in the friendlies with Sheffield Wednesday and Newcastle United.

Bodor didn`t travel with the squad to Norway last week and he stayed at Thorp Arch and had a run out for the reserves in midweek in their 2-1 defeat at Bradford Park Avenue.

Grayson is now going to make a decision on the pair with the new season just seven days away.

Speaking on Yorkshire Radio, Grayson said, “They`ve done ok, they`ve been with us for 7-10 days the pair of them and we will sit down and decide what we are going to do with them in the next 24-36 hours.”

There is no news on fellow trialists Isaiah Osbourne and J. Lloyd Samuel although it looks like neither are part of Grayson`s plans.

Osbourne hasn`t been seen since the game at Sheffield Wednesday last weekend.

Samuel picked up a thigh injury in the game at Rochdale, his only appearance for Leeds, with Grayson indicating that he would be looking elsewhere to strengthen the left back position.

The former Bolton player started for West Ham United in their pre season game with Real Zaragoza on Saturday.
