Leeds United boss Simon Grayson says now the work begins to bring in players good enough to play in the Championship.
Leeds clinched promotion back to the Championship on the final day of the season with a dramatic 2-1 victory over Bristol Rovers.
Speaking on Sky Sports News, Grayson said, ‘I think large parts of the squad will be able to cope and play in the Championship, the proof will be in the pudding, I suppose.
‘But don’t get me wrong, we do need to bring in a few players to make us better. We have to keep progressing as a football club, keep moving on.”
The players have already proved this season that against top Premiership clubs like Manchester United, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur that they are more than a match against tougher opposition.
