Leeds United boss Simon Grayson gave credit to the fans for sticking with the side after coming from behind to beat Crystal Palace on Saturday.

There is unrest with the fans at the moment with the lack of activity in the transfer market and towards club chairman Ken Bates.

With Leeds trailing 2-1 in the final quarter of the game, it could have been a good excuse for many fans to start to get on the backs of the players and officials at the club.

Grayson was delighted with the response of his players and the fans as Leeds turned around the deficit to come away with all three points thanks to a late winner from Ross McCormack.
Speaking on Yorkshire Radio, Grayson said, “We got a reaction from everybody, we could have quite easily have been criticised for the situation, but it was a great opportunity for everybody to stick together and get the result. Full credit to the Leeds fans as well.”

The fans were given a huge lift with the introduction of fans favourite Luciano Becchio just short of the hour mark for his first appearance since April.

It also saw the introduction of new signing, fellow striker Mikael Forssell.

The pair quickly became involved giving Leeds a better option up front.

Becchio equalised for Leeds on 71 minutes and Forssell set up Ross McCormack for the winner with six minutes remaining.
