Simon Grayson was less than impressed with his sides first half performance in the friendly draw in Norway and admitted he was falling asleep on the bench.

The game against Sandefjord ended all square after two very late goals.

Leeds went behind with just three minutes remaining but Raman Nunez maintained the clubs unbeaten start to the season with a long-range effort minutes later.

Grayson felt it was another decent work out but was less than pleased with the first half performance and also that of certain unnamed individuals.

Speaking on Yorkshire Radio , Grayson said, “It was a decent work out. I think first half we were average to say the least.
“I thought we didn`t start the game well enough, we didn`t pass the ball properly, we didn`t have a tempo, we were sloppy and we gave the ball away far too easily and if we start games like we did we will get punished.
“Second half we were much sharper and brighter and we had a decent tempo to the game.
“Certain issues tonight made me look at the squad and individuals and we have quite a bit of work to do still. I was nearly falling asleep on the bench.”

Grayson is still trying to work out his best eleven for the opening game at Southampton in ten days time and admitted that one or two have got a lot to do if they are to make the first team for that game.
“One or two players have made me question are they are going to be good enough to go into the team for that game.
“I said that to the players after the game and I said it before the game. I am open minded on what the team is still going to be, and there`s one or two who will have to look at themselves and think what can I do in the next ten days to make sure they are in my thoughts for the team,” he continued.

Leeds have just one pre season game remaining, against Newcastle United at Elland Road on Sunday before the championship season kicks off on August 6th.

Grayson also admitting that he might try to arrange a game next week (probably behind closed doors), for player such as Andy O`Brien and Robert Snodgrass who have missed much of pre season.
