Simon Grayson is delighted with the clubs preparations so far this pre season.

Leeds made it three games unbeaten with a 3-1 victory at Glentoran on Saturday, the other two games being draws at both York City and Shelbourne.

Speaking on the official website Grayson said “We`ve been bright energetic and shown some good stuff.”

The Whites have two friendlies on Tuesday night with squads going to both Grimsby Town and Wealdstone.

Continuing Grayson said “We`ll take 16 players to both games and the majority will play 90 minutes.”

Leeds play their first home game of the pre season campaign on Saturday when they entertain Premiership side Blackburn Rovers.

In what looks a difficult pre season build up to the new season on the 8th August, the Whites still have to travel to another Premiership side Burnley and Championship side Newcastle United.

Grayson will be hoping to have his squad fit and raring to go when the new season begins against Exeter City.
