Birmingham City and Leeds United meet at St Andrews this afternoon with the blues desperate for three points.

Birmingham are only outside the relegation places on goal difference and they know, with two home games in the next four days, they must improve their form at home if they are to stay in the division. Birmingham have won just twice at home all season, their last win coming on October 1st.

Leeds have little to play for except pride, as they continue to have a big say in the relegation places having beaten Blackpool and Barnsley recently.

Brian McDermott takes his Leeds side to Birmingham looking to record back-to-back away wins for the first time since beating Ipswich and Bolton in the opening month of the season.

SkyBet make Birmingham 6/5 favourites, Leeds are 21/10 and it is 12/5 on the draw.

Nikola Zigic will have happy memories of previous meetings with Leeds. The giant striker has netted five times against Leeds in the past and he is 11/2 for the first goal this afternoon.

Leeds produced possibly their best performance of the season when they defeat Birmingham 4-0 at Elland Road earlier this season.

Matt Smith was on target twice that day and Leeds own giant striker is 7/1 to score the first goal.
