Tiny T gives us his usual fans view from the games at Elland Road, this time after the 4-1 win over Nottingham Forest.

Schmeichel 8

He stood no chance with the goal, a world class save to keep the score at 2-1. His distribution is still patchy.

Lichaj 8 Star man
Good in defence and he got forward well, setting up Howson opener.

O’Brien 7
A steady game at the back.

Bromby 8
Shaded by Lichaj for man of the match, a different player since he has come back into the side.

McCartney 5
Got forward well in the second half but his defending is the weak link unsurprising the goal came from his side again.

Snodgrass 7
Better as the game went on and nearly got his name on the score sheet with a shot that hit the bar.

Howson 6
Yet again scored a crucial goal when needed though the first half passed him by.

Johnson 6
Under pressure in the first half but got stuck in trying to turn the tide back.

Bannan 7
The pick of the midfield, industrious and inventive at times

Gradel 5
Though he scored two, should he have been still on the park? Ineffective for most of the game.

Becchio 6
Against two tall Centre backs, he had a tough game, better when the ball was on the deck and scored the all-important second goal.

Subs
Livermore 7

He was lively and an assist for a goal, not bad for a cameo performance.

Kilkenny/Somma not on long enough.

Summary
Forest should have been in front as they enjoyed most of the first half pressure as we backed off and let them boss the midfield.
The sending off turned the tide.

Defensively we were over worked for 40 minutes but some luck and robust defending got us through to Half time.

We got the first with excellent work by Snoddy and Lichaj and Howson ghosted in unmarked to put us in front.

The save of the season at Elland Road, just how did Kasper keep it out?
He was going the wrong way but managed to scoop it over the bar to keep it at 2-1.
We will take the three points gratefully and move on to the Binmen next week.

Footnote
We had Howson 1st scorer and 3-1 win at 95/1 why did Max get his second. Ruined an otherwise perfect day

Thanks once again Tiny for your views.
