Leeds United two goal hero Max Gradel is still looking at the automatic promotion places after helping his side to a 4-1 win over fellow promotion hopefuls Nottingham Forest.

Gradel helped seal Leeds win with the third and fourth goals of a tough encounter at Elland Road that saw Forest reduced to ten men in the first half after Chris Cohen was shown a straight red card.

Speaking after the game on BBC1 Match of the Day live, Gradel said, “It`s a big win, we have just got to keep going until the end of the season and we will be looking to get promoted automatically.”

The midfielder capped off a fine week after joining up with the Ivory Coast national squad for the second time this season.

His two goals moved him onto 16 goals this season in the Championship, just one behind Leeds leading goalscorer Luciano Becchio who notched his 17th Championship goal of the season in the same game.

Norwich, who are currently in second place remain six points clear of Leeds in fifth after putting six past Scunthorpe United.
