Leeds United head coach Thomas Christiansen will pick from strength for the trip to Cardiff City on Tuesday evening.

Defender Pontus Jansson could come back into the squad after not being risked in the weekend win over Ipswich Town after picking up a muscle injury the previous weekend.

Pierre-Michel Lasogga is available for Leeds after returning from Germany. Lasogga missed the birth of his daughter to be available for the Ipswich clash at the weekend before departing for Germany on Saturday evening. The on loan striker, who opened the scoring at the weekend, returned to Leeds ahead of the long trip to Cardiff.

Vurnon Anita is hoping to have shaken off a knock that forced his early withdrawal in the clash with Ipswich.

Caleb Ekuban remains a long-term absentee for Leeds.

Cardiff could include former Leeds duo Lee Peltier and Sol Bamba in their side.

Peltier is fit despite picking up a knock whilst Bamba was rested in the win at Sunderland on Saturday.

Cardiff are also hopeful that Danny Ward will have recovered from illness in time for the top of the table clash.

Lee Camp, Kadeem Harris, Rhys Healey and Callum Paterson all remain long-term absentees for the bluebirds.
