A few Leeds United fans have been reacting on social media to a comparison offered by LUFC Data, showing where Ben White ranked for his performance against West Bromwich Albion on New Year’s Day.
The Poole-born defender opened his 26th straight Championship game for the club against the Baggies on Wednesday evening, where he was joined in defence by Luke Ayling, Liam Cooper and Ezgjan Alioski.
While neither could prevent Semi Ajayi from opening the scoring in the second minute for the hosts, stats shared by LUFC Data show that White performed among the best players throughout the match in other areas.
No player for either side completed more passes than the Brighton & Hove Albion loanee, with White finding a teammate with 55 of his 61 passes, which was also the only completion rate higher than 90 per cent.
White made more ball recoveries than any other defender who featured at the Hawthorns, too, having snatched possession back nine times.

Another wonderful display to quieten any rumours he’s faltering or unsettled. Praying Brighton don’t shaft us!
