Leeds United youngster Robbie Gotts has certainly worked his way into manager Marcelo Bielsa’s plans in the campaign of 2018/19 as he’s featured in a number of match day squads for the Argentine this year.
The 19-year-old Academy graduate is pretty versatile in fairness, turning out on the right hand side of defence or midfield, but whilst he’s yet to make his maiden senior bow for us, he is a regular in Carlos Corberan’s Under 23 side and more than played his part in our progress through the Premier League Cup, as well as taking top spot ahead of time in the Professional Development League (north) this season.
In Monday evening’s Semi-Final National clash with Coventry City, he was in the central midfield spot and he certainly made his mark on fans as he opened the scoring on the evening, before being joined by Ryan Edmondson and Kun Temenuzhkov on the scoresheet as we took an extra time based 3-2 victory to progress through to the Final.
