Leeds United are stuck in the middle of a fierce fight for promotion which involves almost half of the Championship.

Defeat to West Brom prior to the international break saw the Peacocks slip to third in the standings, sitting just three points ahead of tenth-placed QPR.

Injury problems have been mounting for Marcelo Bielsa’s side and another huge setback was sustained in recent days as Jamal Blackman’s leg break saw his loan spell at Elland Road ended prematurely, with the goalkeeper returning to Chelsea as a result.

That has left Leeds lacking depth beyond Bailey Peacock-Farrell and the general consensus is that Bielsa needs to act in January to strengthen his squad, which has led to plenty of speculation regarding potential targets.

One player linked with a move to the club is Burnley stopper Tom Heaton, who excelled with the Clarets last season and went to the World Cup in England but has disappeared off the radar following the signing of Joe Hart.

A move seems to make sense for all involved but opinions amongst Leeds supporters are split. We have gathered some of their reactions below.
