Our former first-choice shot-stopper featured in both of his country’s Euro 2020 qualifying ties over the break, and he pulled off a range of top-draw saves to keep a clean sheet against Estonia and secure the win against Belarus.
Peacock-Farrell’s performances over the past fortnight ensured Northern Ireland finished the first batch of fixtures top of Group C, ahead of 2014 World Cup winners Germany. His shutout of Henri Anier, Henrik Ojamaa, and co. was also his first clean sheet on the international stage that led to a win, after keeping the Republic of Ireland and Panama at bay in the past.
