Leeds Winning Streak Comes To An End, But The Unbeaten Run Can Continue As We Show A Different Side To Our Game

|

With an unbeaten start to the season of 2018/19 with maximum points taken from our opening Championship matches of the year, Leeds United went into tonight’s trip to Swansea City with good confidence and high hopes of keeping our winning streak going.

Whilst the game didn’t exactly go to plan, Swansea gave us a test of another sort and that gives rise to positives we can take of its own.

Having fallen behind twice in the game, Leeds dug in to get themselves back on level terms on both occasions as Kemar Roofe found the net once more and was then joined by former Swan Pablo Hernandez.

It’s fair to say we weren’t at our best when it came to our performances this year but as above, on bad days you want to at least take points from games even if they are on the more ugly side, and we did that so fans should be happy on that front.

The winning streak might be at an end, but our unbeaten run continues and ahead of the opening day’s kick-off, I doubt few would’ve argued with this so far.
