Leeds United Report Referee!

The new favourite official of Leeds United fans everywhere, Danny McDermid has been reported to The Football Association according to the clubs official website.

The move is a rare one in football terms, though it does come on the back of Mr McDermid reporting the Leeds boss, who has subsequently been charged by The FA for “Using abusive/and or insulting words to a match official” following the clubs 1-1 draw with Gillingham last weekend.

Wise believes that the referee, who is a relatively new one to league football swore at him following the final whistle as the boss tried to gain answers as to why McDermid went card crazy, including the dismissal of both the Leeds United strikers.

As reported in the previous article ‘Leeds Referee Controversy Continues’ Wise said after the match: “I think it is totally and utterly unacceptable and we as a club will be reporting him,’

‘I have three witnesses who are going to back me up, so well done to the ref, he got the headlines he obviously wanted.

‘The ref has sent me off at half-time because I’ve said something that I shouldn’t have done. But it seems there are two different sets of rules.’

I’d put money on the case against the referee being dismissed, with Leeds punished yet again.
