Leeds United fans have all been discussing the immediate future of loan striker Jean-Kevin Augustin this week.
The 23-year-old has been restricted to just three substitute appearances since joining in January and was not involved on Sunday as we were defeated at Cardiff City.
Phil Hay revealed earlier in the month that the forward had suffered a ‘recurrence of his hamstring strain’ and it could continue to rule him out for the remainder of the current campaign.
Should we extend JKA's loan deal?
100%
No!
Marcelo Bielsa will also need to make a call on Augustin soon as the deadline to extend his loan to the season’s conclusion expires this week.
However, it is not known how this will affect their obligation to buy – United will have to cough up a whopping β¬21m (Β£18m) should they clinch promotion in these final eight matches.
Though many at Elland Road are rather unimpressed by the Frenchman having watched him play for a total of just 48 minutes. Some have slammed the club’s recruitment whilst others lambasted the player for being a waste of money.

Send him back ..whatever division weβre in we donβt want to go into next season gambling on a striker who may or may not be injury prone …we have to bring a proven goal scorer in next season
