Leeds United’s season keeps on getting better and Carlos Corberan’s Under 23 side have again shown our seniors where to aim in the campaign of 2018/19 with tonight’s victory over Burnley.
Having taken victory over Colchester United in our last Professional Development League match to hand us the league title ahead of time and with games to spare given the points advantage we had built up in recent matches, tonight Corberan’s side were in Premier League Cup action and we took a comfortable 3-1 win over Burnley in the quarter-final stage of the competition.
