With Monday being an incredibly busy day for Leeds United as we saw three players arrive at Elland Road, one of those players had featured heavily on the summer transfer rumour mill and Ben White could be a key addition for us in the 2019/20 Championship campaign.
The 21-year-old arrives on a season long loan spell from Brighton & Hove Albion and he has picked up experience with previous loan spells at Newport County and Peterborough United, but it’s going to be a step up for him in the second tier.
He comes in highly rated though and our chase for him has been quite a lengthy one, so clearly Victor Orta and manager Marcelo Bielsa see something in him and believe he can add to our options and as ever, in Bielsa we trust.
Our Argentine genius clearly played a huge role in the deal given the high praise White lavished on him during his announcement interview with the Official Site.

I’ve heard loads about Marcelo Bielsa, he is an amazing manager, especially with young players and I’m sure he is going to really improve me, which is what I am looking to do this season. I’m cool and calm on the ball, I like to play out from the back and I want to try and play as many games as I can – I’ve come here to win games. I’m looking forward to meeting everyone at Thorp Arch, I haven’t trained yet, so the rest of the team are a week ahead, but I’m really looking forward to getting stuck into it.”
