It’s the one we’ve all been waiting for, and could still be waiting another few days for.
Having been linked with a loan deal for Wolves winger Helder Costa for some time now, it looks as if the move is one step closer to being completed. BBC Sports Broadcaster Adam Pope tweeted today that United are close to bringing the Portuguese international to Elland Road.
The deal appeared to have been held up by Leeds wanting to have an ‘option to buy’ clause in the contract. It now appears as though there’s an added clause so that Leeds would be obligated to buy should they achieve promotion.
With this deal seemingly being dragged out forever, noted United podcast Nothing But Leeds got to the stage where they reply to every official tweet with an image of a Costa Coffee cup. Fans are practically at breaking point over the whole affair.
So when they saw Adam Pope’s tweet regarding the news, they let their excitement get the better of them. Taking to Twitter they expressed their joy that their main target this summer is on the verge of finally pulling on a white shirt, hopefully for a long time to come.
If we win the league, do we get 25% off if we lift a reusable cup?
