The emergence of Jack Clarke at Leeds United continues to make the headlines at Elland Road and fresh from links with Manchester City again, surprise, surprise, he’s now being linked with Liverpool in nonsensical ‘exclusives’ where people should really know better.
50' Goal Leeds. Substitute Jack Clarke has an immediate impact. He scores with a fine strike into the top right corner from the edge of the box 2-2

The 18-year-old has previously rejected overtures from Manchester City to sign a professional deal with us, so given manager Marcelo Bielsa has brought him into the first team and he has six appearances to his name already in the Championship campaign of 2018/19, quite why he’d be interested in becoming a forgotten man in their Under age team, or even Liverpool’s is beyond little old me.
85' Another goal for Leeds! Clarke superbly weaves his way into the Burnley box before teeing up the striker who smashes the ball into the top corner! 3-6

In any event, the lad certainly doesn’t appear to be distracted by the speculation (quite rightly) and whilst Patrick Bamford will take the headlines from today’s Under 23 clash with Burnley given he scored a hattrick, Clarke’s impact on helping us to come from behind to secure the win shouldn’t be overlooked.

Clarke has to start over Alioski ????

Hopefully he'll start v Bolton saturday. He has to over Alioski. Gives so much going forward where as Alioski gets brain dead, stops, trips over himself & gets himself into an offside position whilst crashing to the floor

The youngster came on as a halftime substitute and within five minutes he’d got himself on the scoresheet. He then went on to create two assists for Bamford to complete his own individual performance and he deserved every ounce of praise he received from fans on social media, as shown by the above selection of comments.
