Leeds Look To The Eredivisie For Alternative Attacking Option – 8 Goals, 11 Assists

|

With Leeds United now preparing for another year in the Championship following the end of our promotion hopes this year, the summer transfer rumour mill has already been spinning into action and on Saturday afternoon it was being claimed that we had made an approach to ADO Den Haag for versatile attacker Sheraldo Becker.

The 24-year-old has had a good season in the Eredivisie, making 33 appearances for Den Haag, returning seven goals and eight assists from the right forward position, but he can also operate on the opposite flank or through the middle.

The original claim seemed to come from the Mirror and it seems that with the player set to be a free agent this summer when his contract naturally expires, we have now joined the likes of Middlesbrough, Sheffield Wednesday, Derby County and Swansea City in making some enquiries and registering our interest.

We’ll have to see if anything comes of this but you wouldn’t think we’d be looking effectively for right wingers unless we spy his future being through the middle.
