Vital Leeds United is keeping a close eye on how the Leeds players are doing during their loan spells away from the club.

Leeds have seven players out on a loan until the end of the season.

Lewie Coyle – Fleetwood Town (Season-long loan) Appearances 45 (2) Total 47 Goals 0

Coyle played the 90 minutes for Fleetwood on Saturday as they went down to a 2-0 defeat at Peterborough United.

Coyle almost broke his goal duck but his long-range effort came back off the bar in injury time.

 Luke Murphy – Burton Albion (Season-long loan) Appearances 34 (6) Total 40 Goals 1

Murphy played the 90 minutes for Burton as they continue their quest for the great escape with a 2-0 win against fellow strugglers Bolton Wanderers.

The win for Burton is a third in a row but they remain in the relegation places on goal difference with just one game remaining.

The appearance for the midfielder was his 40th appearance of the season for the Brewers.

 Marcus Antonsson – Blackburn Rovers (Season-long loan) Appearances 24 (9) Total 33 Goals 8

Antonsson celebrated promotion in midweek with Blackburn. The striker came off the bench on 79 minutes as Blackburn won 1-0 at Doncaster Rovers to clinch an instant return to the Championship.

Antonsson was an unused substitute on Saturday as Blackburn missed a chance to go top of League One with a 1-0 defeat at Charlton Athletic. Former Leeds defender Jason Pearce scored the only goal of the game for Charlton, who look set for a play-off place under another former Leeds player Lee Bowyer.

Yosuke Ideguchi – Cultural Leonesa (Remainder of the season) Appearances 1 (4) Total 5 Goals 0

Ideguchi was left out of the Cultural Leonesa squad for their game against Cordoba.

It looks like being the final nail in the coffin for Ideguchi’s World Cup final hopes with Japan this summer.

Ideguchi has made just five appearances for the Spanish Second Division side since joining them in January and he now hasn’t featured since 18th February.

Liam Kitching – Harrogate Town (Remainder of the season) Appearances 8 (1) Total 9 Goals 3

Kitching was once again missing for Harrogate through injury as they finished their regular season with a 5-0 win against Curzon to finish second in the Conference North Premier Division.

Harrogate will now prepare for the play-offs.

Mateusz Klich – FC Utrecht (Remainder of the season) Appearances 13 (0) Total 13 Goals 0

Klich played the 90 minutes for FC Utrecht as their winless run continued with a 2-2 draw at Heracles.

FC Utrecht were 2-0 down inside five minutes before fighting back to earn a draw and they have now gone six games without a win. Utrecht remain in fifth place in the Dutch Eredivisie but they are now just three points ahead of Vitesse with one game remaining.

Mallik Wilks – Grimsby Town (Remainder of the season) Appearances 3 (2) Total 5 Goals 0

Wilks was once again missing for Grimsby with a hamstring injury as the Mariners continued their good end to the season with a 2-1 win against promotion-chasing Notts County.

There was good news for Wilks on Saturday as Accrington Stanley clinched the League Two title. Wilks will receive a championship winners medal having spent the first half of the season on loan at Accrington.
