According to L’Equipe – via Get Football News France – Leeds are looking at a late play for Moussa Konate.

The Whites have been linked with a number of players this summer and it certainly seems fair to assume that a fair amount of the stories doing the rounds have proven wide of the mark.

In the final days of the window, then, it looks like a few more links will be thrown out there and this one has us going for the 25-year-old striker.

Currently with French side Amiens, he hit 13 goals in 33 league appearances last season which is not a bad goals to game ratio at all.

Certainly, he could potentially be a good player for us but, to be honest, I have my doubts we are going to get him.

We could do with another forward but I’d imagine if we get one it’ll be someone who already knows the Championship well.
