Free agent Sean Clare appears to be on Leeds’ radar as we enter the final days of the transfer window – according to Teamtalk.
The midfielder broke onto the scene last season for Sheffield Wednesday with some decent displays in the middle of the park.
He’s decided to leave the struggling Owls, though, and now he is up for grabs with the Whites apparently keen on his services.
The report reckons, though, that the likes of Swansea and Fulham are also keen on the player and so we could be in for a bit of a battle to bring him in.
Indeed, whilst I think we could convince him to come over Swansea given we’re in the same league, stopping Fulham might be tougher with them back in the Premier League.
First-team football is crucial to players like Clare, though, so maybe the better chance of that with us could persuade him to swap South Yorkshire for West.
