Leeds join PL side in eyeing up move for towering ace

|

According to Ipswich Town focused website, TWTD, Leeds United have joined Premier League side Crystal Palace in recently running the rule over young centre-half Luke Woolfenden.

At this current moment in time, there’s little to really go at in terms of on-field action and it looks as though it’d be best to turn our attention to transfer rumours.

Indeed, it remains to be seen if the summer window is going to open on time but Leeds will be planning for it and looking to get themselves some players in that, all going to plan, will be preparing for a Premier League campaign next year.

It appears, too, that Woolfenden could well be a top flight player next season if he leaves the Tractor Boys with both the Eagles and the Whites taking a closer look at him.

He’s been a regular this season in Suffolk despite still being in his early 20s and at 1.93m he is taller than most so he’d certainly be useful in the air.

Whilst it also remains to be seen what is going to happen with Ben White, too, it probably makes sense that the club is getting linked to other defenders ahead of the summer market.

Of course, it still remains unclear as to what league the club is going to be playing in next season but, eitherway, now seems a good time to really plan for the window and get an idea of what the Whites want to do once it is open for business.
