“Sensible solution” – Emerging idea to solve promotion problem leaves these Leeds fans saying loads

The first weekend without football in the EFL has passed and it seems safe to say that it was pretty boring to say the very least.

Whilst in the off-period you can at least look at the transfer window or an international tournament to stay occupied, this current predicament leaves clubs wondering exactly what is going to happen next.

Indeed, things are no different than at Leeds United where the Whites will be thinking about their promotion challenge and what the current hiatus could mean for it.

The question mark, of course, is whether the clubs are going to go up and down using the standings at the moment or whether a different solution can be found.

One idea emerging, too, is that both the Whites and West Brom would go up as they are the current top two in the Championship and they would then play in a 22-team Premier League season whenever the new campaign started – according to the Telegraph:
