Leeds United have released a statement politely asking supporters not to enter the playing area at full-time on Saturday.

The game against Ipswich is the last home game of the season, and the traditional pitch invasion seen around the grounds on their last game is a possibility.

The statement reads:

“It is imortant that fans please keep off the pitch after Saturday’s game. Providing the pitch is clear, the players will return to thank the fans for their marvellous support during the course of the season.

presentation will be made at that time to Gary Kelly to recognise his 16 years of service to the club. This, of course, can only happen if fans stay off the pitch.”
