The Whites are expected to be heavily involved in the January transfer window as Jesse Marsch looks to reinforce his squad for a better second half of the season.

Talk of a left-back and a striker have been on the lips of every Leeds fan for a while and numerous reports are now suggesting the West Yorkshire club are monitoring the situation with Flamengo attacker, Pedro. Rodrigo was signed for a fee of around £29m and it is believed a fee upwards of that could make the Brazilian club interested in a possible deal for the 25-year-old, who is currently with the Brazil squad in Qatar. Pedro has good experience, as well as a great goal-scoring record, in fact,  wherever he has played, he has scored goals. 26 goals in 70 games for Fluminense, 18 in 45 in an initial loan spell at Flamengo, before it was made permanent in 2020, where he has made 68 appearances, netting 27 goals so far.

Translated it states, Leeds United monitor Pedro. Valued after a great season at Flamengo, he should get even more appreciation for participating in a World Cup. In addition, still has a contract until December 2025′.

Pedro Guilherme Abreu dos Santos, better known as Pedro, would be a real coup for Leeds and Jesse Marsch, and if they could somehow pull this off, it would be a real signal of intent from the board as to how the future of the club is going to look. Investment from the 49ers which should eventually lead to a full takeover could mean these types of signings would be a regular occurrence for the Whites and certainly something for the fans to cheer about. Whether any concrete offers will be made for Pedro is anyone’s guess, but it’s certainly a good feeling being linked with players of this calibre and shows just how far we have come.

What do you think, could Leeds pull off a major coup with Pedro? Let us know in the comments.
