Leeds United slipped out of the play-off places after losing 1-0 to Wolverhampton Wanderers at Elland Road.

Nouha Dicko scored the only goal of the game for the visitors on 38 minutes after Leeds had looked nervous throughout the first half.

Leeds failed to muster a serious attempt on goal in the first half whilst Rob Green had kept Leeds in the game.

Green did well to deny Andreas Weimann after the forward had got in behind the Leeds defence following a slip by Gaetano Berardi. He then did well to deny Dave Edwards as he tipped the ball round the post.

Wolves made their pressure count with just seven-minutes of the half remaining when Dicko was found down the Leeds left and his shot across goal found the far corner.

Leeds were brighter in the second half. Gaetano Berardi and Pontus Jansson both had efforts miss the target as they tried to find a way back into the game.

Souleymane Doukara was denied with his first effort after coming off the bench when former Leeds keeper Andy Lonergan kept out his header.

In the final minute, Kortney Hause cleared a Kemar Roofe header off the line but Leeds couldn`t find a way back into the game as they lost for just the second time at Elland Road since November.
