KageyVision has been speaking about Jack Harrison’s involvement in the Carabao Cup defeat to Wolves and has described the winger as being ‘really, really poor’.

The 25-year-old was given the full game on Wednesday, but he did very little throughout and didn’t really offer anything in the way of chances or assists during the match. It has now been eleven games since Harrison contributed any goals or assists and his form has dipped quite drastically in recent weeks. Understandably, he has struggled when being played out of position, but the basic things a professional footballer should be able to do has eluded Jack for a while now.

The frustrating thing is, we all know how good he can be, and to be fair to him, he has been superb in some games in the past. His downfall being he isn’t consistently good. Many times he will score a goal or play a perfect assist, and then go missing for weeks. The latest poor performance has called for him to be dropped by sections of the fans and I’m starting to agree. Maybe a rest, reset and some time away from the pitch may get him back to where we all know he can be.

KageyVision has spoken on his Youtube channel and shares the same frustration as us all, He said, “Jack Harrison yesterday was given all the opportunity and you can tell it was a game where he stayed on for the 90 minutes it was an opportunity for him to try and get himself something out of the game whether it be a good performance, an assist, a goal, something, and he was he was woeful yesterday, I mean really bad.”

Has Harrison's head been turned by Newcastle interest?

Yes, he wants out

Yes, he wants out

No, he'll come good

No, he'll come good

“Now listen, I spotted at least three times, I know in my head, I saw three times Luke Ayling, down the right ready to receive the ball from Jack Harrison, and he didn’t get it once. Not one time did Jack look up and pass it over to Luke. Jack either went for a shot that went wide or he misplaced the pass, it was really really weird, and I’m saying this as well, as someone that likes Jack Harrison, I do but this has been ongoing since the end of the transfer window,  I said in the first few games when he was on fire, I think he might, he may have enjoyed the fact that Raphinha has gone and he’s the main man now, but he’s been poor, really, really poor as well, and yesterday’s game was, I know you shouldn’t take too much from Cup games, but that was, that was bad, and I mean the free kick as well. I think everyone knows free kick I’m talking about, that summed it up for me yesterday, I mean, what was he doing with that?”

There could be a number of reasons why Harrison is so out of form, the system doesn’t really suit him at the moment and he might be struggling with playing more narrow and compact, which he isn’t used to. Some also think the Newcastle interest has turned his head, and he could be looking for a way out. I really don’t know what it could be, but something is definitely wrong with Jack at the moment.
