Leeds Word On The Tweet

‘It can’t be true’, ‘Madness’ – These Leeds fans show clear opposition to Bielsa’s latest target

Leeds United fans have been reacting to a report stating that the Whites have lodged a €12million (£10.5m) bid for Spartak Moscow striker Ze Luis.

Luis is in terrific form in Russia at the moment, with a hit rate of one every other game in the Premier Liga and Europa League.

Before that, though, the 6 foot forward, valued by TransferMarkt at £6.3million, has never been a prolific centre-forward, as his next best season came during the 2014/15 Liga NOS campaign when he scored eight goals in 21 games for Braga.

The report coming out of Russia in Championat, however, has suggested that the Whites are officially in the hunt for 27-year-old as they look to secure promotion out of the Championship.

But, while Marcelo Bielsa may want the striker to partner Kemar Roofe in his roster, Spartak Moscow have no intentions of selling for the amount reportedly bid so far.

Going by these Whites fans’ reactions on Twitter, improving the bid for Luis may not be the right move in January…
