Not long left now until the end of the season and I for one am counting down the days until we say goodbye to 2017/18.
It’s not been a good campaign at all for us, and I am sure I’m not the only one just longing for the summer where we can try and forget the last few months ever happened.
In the meantime, though, there’s still some fixtures to play and it looks as though we’ve got a ‘cup final’ up next – according to Hecky:
Heckingbottom – Saturday for Barnsley will be like a cup final. "It's all about getting the win." #lufc

The Verdict
Yeah, it’s a big game against one of our local rivals but a cup final? Not for me.
Something has to be at stake for it to warrant such a tag and though local pride is nice whenever I don’t think you can really put such a label on this game, especially against such a struggling team like the Tykes.
It just about sums the season up how we’ve got to this point.
Thoughts, Whites? Let me know!
