It doesn’t really matter now in the grand scheme of things because we managed to turn the game around.
However, I think in the grand scheme of things, the decisions that have gone against Leeds United really can’t go unnoticed. After the monumental error that was Nahki Wells’ handball for QPR in their last game, Leeds United once again fell to some awful refereeing decisions in their win over Millwall last night.
First Leeds were denied a corner even though the goalkeeper tipped the ball round the post after a Stuart Dallas shot, and then just before the penalty for Millwall’s second goal the ball had gone out in the build-up only for play to carry on.
Those two decisions, combined with the one at Loftus Road just provided Leeds fans with plenty of ammunition to rally against the officiating in this division as yet another reason that Leeds United were being held back, and it led many of them to call for change in one form or another.
Premiership fans wanting to scrap off VAR because it’s ‘killing the game’. #lufc https://t.co/incVl27f7E

Looked like? Understatement. His gloves are still hot. He gave a corner and then Millwall complained and he changed to a goal kick, now he turns down a blatant corner. 17mins in and he’s made three howlers

I always it was conspiracy theories against us but it’s beginning to look like this. The lack of consistency is shocking, the simple basics like a ball going out of play of a keeper saving a shot & going out for a corner. It’s embarrassing

Think if you watch other Championship games, it’s not just us.
The officiating has been dreadful. The simple stuff has been missed, linesman are missing blatant offsides and no real comment from anyone.

Even I’ve given up trying to understand the decisions they keep coming up with. I’m the last person to scream conspiracy, but sheesh…..

And yet another example of incompetent, shocking Officials!

I think with VAR we might actually get better decisions for Leeds 😂 unreal

We would be 6-8 points clear before tonight with VAR surely ? #eflcorrupt #lufc

Let’s just hope that we can get out of this division sooner rather than later, that way we won’t have to deal with any of this anymore.
