It might only be one game old, this season, but you can tell that there is a renewed sense of hope around the club right now.
Of course, things in our fanbase can change quicker than at most clubs but for now we can revel in the fact that we completely outclassed the favourites for the title yesterday afternoon.
To a man we were better and more intense than them and perhaps the most striking thing was that the team involved ten players from last season.
Clearly, Bielsa is already having an impact on the players and Liam Cooper embodied that with a strong performance at the heart of defence.
We still need another option in the middle of defence squad-wise I feel but, clearly, he could well stay in the side for some time to come after yesterday’s showing.
