According to the BBC, Swansea are eyeing a loan move for Brentford’s Ryan Woods and it looks as though they are well in front in the race to bring him in.
Indeed, he has been linked with us and West Brom this summer but it’s the Swans leading the charge and now it looks as though it’ll be tough to try and get him.
If we want him, then, we need to try and act sharpish with it at least possible that the Bees are open to other loan offers from not just the Swans for the 24-year-old.
Of course, it remains to be seen whether we still want him with a few weeks left in the loan market but you’d think that the Swans will want to try and get something sorted sooner rather and later.
He’s a player I’d like to see come in, then, but I have my doubts that the Whites are going to be able to do it.
