Adam Pope has taken to Twitter to give us a good idea of who will be playing this evening against Bolton Wanderers as the EFL Cup gets underway.
The competition, for me, has lost its appeal but it is good to see that extra-time has been removed for these games if things end up as a draw.
Even so, to negate tired legs big changes are expected to our side and Pope has pretty much confirmed as such with him putting this update out:
So we have a pretty good idea of the #lufc starting line-up tonight v Bolton
Blackman
Jansson
Pearce
Phillips
Baker
Roberts
Harrison
BamfordWe know Shaughnessy will be in the squad too after playing for the 23s last night.
Who else do you reckon will start? #lufc

With one of the smaller squads in the league, we need to rest players as and when we can, as well as try and get new faces into the side when possible.
It looks as though fringe players and young players will get their chance tonight, then, and hopefully they will be able to adopt the Bielsa approach just as much as the first-team players have so far this season.
