With Spygate coming to end in recent days for Leeds United as the club accepted a £200,000 fine from the EFL for doing something absolutely not against the rules, but being deemed to be against the spirit of ‘utmost faith’, news that an on pitch brawl between the players of Norwich City and Ipswich Town has not gone down well amongst fans.

The Football Association confirmed yesterday that the derby day brawl between the sides would see Norwich fined a paltry £25,000 and Ipswich only £20,000 for failure to control their players – a game that also saw Ipswich manager Paul Lambert shown a red card by the referee and sent from the touchline – well, given the egregious breach of known laws applicable in that situation – fans are disgusted given the difference in the level of fines handed out.

Taking to social media to vent their frustrations, the message from the Elland Road faithful was clear and needs no explanation.
