Burnley midfielder Micah Hyde has been charged with violent conduct following the tunnel incident after the match that saw Shaun Derry require five stitches.
The FA took action after the incident was included in the referee’s report and police are also believed to be investigating.
Hyde has until November 2nd to respond to the charge.
